Chicken strips or Schnitzel

 Today i'll share with you my way to make these lovely golden chicken schnitzel recipe or chicken strips; it is so easy and quick to make, some people like to season it quickly and fry the same hour but i prefer to  marinate my chicken at least 2 hours to get the lovely season flavours.
What to serve with chicken schnitzel?
French fries or vegetables salad or both!
yes i love to serve my chicken strips with salads and french fries, i know this meal has lots of calories but once a month will not kill me LOL!

Prep time : 15 mins
Fried time : 8 mins
Serve: 2 persons


400g or 1 large boneless chicken breast
For marinade:
1/2 cup yogurt
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp black Pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 Tbsp lemon juice

Chicken Tender coating:
1 cup seasoned bread crumbs
1 cup all purpose flour
2 whole eggs

Oil for frying

The way:

- Cut chicken breast into steaks.
- In a large bowl, place the chicken steaks, add yogurt, lemon juice, paprika, black Pepper and garlic powder. Mix all together until the season covered the steaks.
- Mariened for overnight or at least for 2 hours.
- In a shallow dish, whisk the 2 eggs with black pepper and salt.
- Place flour in another dish, and  place the breadcrumbs into a third
shallow dish.
- Coat chicken with flour; dip into egg mixture, then coat with bread crumb mixture.
- Transfer the steaks into a wire rack and rest for 30 minutes.
- Heat oil in a large, heavy skillet to (180 degrees C).
- Fry the chicken in batches until golden brown on both sides, 6-8 minutes.
- Drain on paper towels.
- Enjoy!
